Hopefully be able to try some sackala(white perch,crappie) fishing in Port Akers-taylors bayou tomorrow afternoon.Hope it warms up.By the way anyone had any luck in them part of the waters?

Man I grew up on the bayou in Fannett and I never pulled anything but catfish and gators out of that muddy water.

Fished the lower bayou area around Port Acres,couple times in the last few years,yep your right about the cats and gators,but pulled a few decent perch,bass,red fish(brackish water)out of it.nothing to brag about but enough for a meal.and thanks kody`s papa

Heard they have been killing them off of 73 by the pump station also by the building across the street from fish r hunt store before you get to the bridge. I was in Port Arthur for a couple of days and my cousin was killing them (Beetle Spins) I refused to go to take my new bay boat out on Lake Sabine and I hit a big fat ZERO go figure.
