Over the years, I have heard a littany of names for our little finny fighters....some cute, some funny, and some just make me mad,,,,,, here are the ones I;ve heard ,,,how about you????
Carp
Crapfish
Sewer Trout
Bugelmouths
Mud golds
routers
German Carp
Mirror Carp
Ghost Carp
Koi
Bars of Gold
additions in red....
Over sized minnow
Bait fish
bugle mouth bass
Carpinios
bronze back crapfish
rocky mountain bonefish
coy
Round mouth
queens of the mud
k**ksuckers
Poor man's redfish
bait
target practice
golden minnow
trash fish
some bi$&$in carp
sucker fish
gutter bass
golden bonefish
Gold Fish.
So??? do you know of any others???

I'm not sure if is is a misspelling of koi, or some weird combination of koi and carp.

An old fishing mentor of mine used to call them "gutter bass" And I once heard them called bronze back crapfish but ehh I call them fun.
