Absolutely, the best line I have found, hands down. It does have some line memory and a slightly larger diameter but its toughness makes up for it. I was sold when I hooked a 5 pounder and it wrapped my t-motor. It actually spun my t-motor prop off backwards and the fish bolted again, I got it turned and the fish was headed straight back to the boat,it was coming so I was just going to swing it in the boat (not my best move)and my Carrot Stick rod broke in half (I have nothing good to say about those rods!) I just knew I had lost the 5 pounder! Looked down in the water and she was just looking up at me. I checked the line and it hardly had any knicks or abrasion, just kinked all up. I was sold! I use 17 and 20 lb test.

its the type of line that gives flourocarbon a bad reputation. very coily, poor knot streangth, and very hard to manage with backlashes. buy seguar invis x or if you have the money seguar tatsu. you wont have to change line as often and will catch more fish with out worrying about your line hindering you.

I posted this same question about a month ago and got enough positive responses to give it a try......... my opinion its terrible,i broke a fish off after just retying and it has the memory of an elephant. I wanted to like it but I put it on two reels and it lasted one trip and stripped it off.Horrible castability. I went to LFT hybrid pro FHP. Its worth the extra 13 bucks

Buy 25 lb test and use it on your weed eater!! It is barely good enough for that purpose......

I think PETA invented this [censored] to save fish. Might be OK for a leader on a C-Rig or some such but it seriously sucks IMHO.

I made the mistake too because of the price. to be honest with you all flouro is worthless unless you use super parabolic rods. It shouldn't break on the hookset and it did numerous times. All of it has memory that 5 gallons of KVD line conditioner cant cure. I have serious beef with flouro. Just my 2 cents.

Don't care for it. I like 100% Trilene. I like the Gamma Edge, very expensive, out of business now, I think.

To me, it is the best fluorocarbon for the price. I sometimes have knot breakage, that is why I test it everytime after tying it. I have never had line breakage. I also use KVD line conditioner on every spool I put it on, but I have been using that on all my reels for awhile.

I can't afford the price that some of the others ask for their lines even though they may or may not be a better or higher quality line. That is what it boils down to for me and I know several others. If I want to use 100% fluro on all my reels, I have to go with one I can afford. I still don't know why it is so expensive, I guess the manufacturing process makes it more expensive to make. Maybe one day it will become cheaper to make or something will drive the price down. For now, I can't pay $22+ for 200yds of line. Plus I don't have a heart attack when I have to cut out a backlash on the $12 line! smile
