DO NOT forget the thermostats! Should be replaced on a regulator basis.

I have heard that if that goes bad (VRO) then an alarm goes off. The boat man I use here said thats what it does when that goes out. He suggesteed I unhook mine.

Continous beep is heat
Intermittent beep is oil
Intermittent beep water in fuel (EFI motors)

If the housing has not been changed then change it and the impellar. The whole kit should be around $50. If it already has a new impellar I doubt this will fix your problem though. I suspect the sender or the warning unit itself. The sender is located on the top of the motor on the right side as you are facing it. Check the wiring first. I think it is also possible that it could be something in the ignition switch or control box too. Does it beep a couple of times when you first turn the key. Sometimes mine will go off before the motor even warms up. I have to turn it off and it resets the sensor.
