15lb big game.......light drag......and the only knot allowed on Family Style POLYMOR knot (SPELLING) I can tie it not sure I can spell it!

10# vanish for all my 7ft rods cuzz of the small shimano spool,caught plenty of hybrids,just takes a little longer.20# braid for my team daiwa 10ft surf rods for stripers at texoma,but always has a 20# big game for the liter.

I use 8# diameter 30# test power pro braid on all my spinning reels that way no matter what I hook it is coming to the boat plus on most of my lures the braid is strong enough to bend my hooks and not break my line so my lure can live to fish another day. I live and die with the braided line I love it!!!!

In the creeks, I use 12# test. I would use 30# test, but it wont fit through the eye of a 1/4 oz jighead......
