Did a search with no luck....Feet get tired and achy (sp?) after about 3-4 hours standing on the front deck (happens to old people)...any recommendations on good shoes to stop this kind of fatigue?

Thanks.

As much as I made fun of them, I ended up with a pair of Crocs to fish in last year... Comfortable and I found that I wore them everywhere, not just fishing..

look at the airwalks from payless, same as the crocs but alot cheaper. try wading shoes with the felt bottoms too, won't slip and won't hurt the boat.

The crocs are very comfortable. Wore them all last summer with no socks. Only problem which isn't really a problem is that when you take them off, you have polka dotted tan spots on your feet where the sun peeks through the holes. Looks kinda funny.

I only where New Balance. My feet don't hurt. I have high arches and I get great support out of them. I have a pair of the Gore-tex NB also for rain and cold muddy weather.

from now until next winter i will only wear a pair of keen's, five fingers or barefoot. I go barefoot 95% of the time. I grew up fishing mainly deep sea on big boats that don't allow shoes so i'm more comfortable with it.

Crocs are the way to go. They float and if they get wet they dry super fast, not to mention very comfortable.

Take a look at Aquashox Anti-Fatigue Floor Mats. Coupled with shoes, it might take some of the pain off?

I bought a pair of these last year.. I use to go barefoot ... but after a couple of fins, hooks and sore back I started wearing shoes in the warmer weather... i like these.. and my legs and back dont hurt like they use to laugh

Another vote for Crocs, especially in warm weather. I've worn mine down to 45 deg with good socks though.

Crocs. Best of all, I just leave them in the boat and don't worry about being seen with them on out in public.
