 Trolling Motor.....clicking/ticking noise

I have a Motor Guide 70 lb Thrust Pro series trolling motor....less than a year old.
There is a weird noise sometimes in the higher powers. It sounds like a bearing going out or something. Kind of a ticking or clicking noise at high speeds. If I turn the motor sharply, the noise stops and takes a little bit to come back.
Any ideas?

pull your propellor and make sure theres no line, or a sticker(they eventually come loose from the glue) behind the prop.

Did just that and there wasn't anything. When I put it back on it continued.

Probably just got a bushing worn the armature is hittin.Sooner you get it looked at the better might save you some big bucks.Darrell
