Wow nuts im drooling at the computer checking out the new 2011 Ford 250! They will no longer have the 5.4L V8 or the 6.8L V10 gasoline motors avaliable for this truck. You can only get the 6.2L V8 or the deisel. The F250's with the 5.4L could only max tow 9000 but with the 6.2 V8 the towing capacity jumped to 12000. I want one with the 6.2L V8. Just priced a F250 XLT supercrew 4x4 against a F150 XLT supercrew 4x4 and the F250 is only $2k more ($38k). Cant wait until my truck is paid off!

I have my order in for the F-350 with the 6.7, just waiting for my VIN and the build date. I love my 08, but am really excited to get the 2011. The price has gone up a bunch from the last truck, I'm glad I get A plan price (saved me 10k) If you pull 5th wheels or goosenecks check out the option for the tow prep package, factory installed mount kit and you can use the Reese 18k and 24k or the Ford 25k hitch.

I dont have any gooseneck trailers or a 5th wheel. I will probably have a bumper pull travel trailer in the future. I just basically want the F250 because i love the body style and its not that much more than the F150 if you stay with the gas motor.

my dad does automotive radio and newspaper. Ford flew him out and he test drove it and said that it is the best diesel by far for any light truck, its super quiet and gets high mpg

Those 2011's look really nice, the 6.2 seems to be an improvement over the 5.4 however it is no v10. Looks like an improvement none the less which I think over a few more years they will continue to improve it as well.

I dont know, the numbers all over the net put the unofficial hp rating of 411hp which is about 50 more hp than the V10 ford has now. The torque ratings are supposed to be 434ft-lbs. Thats only 23ft-lbs of torque less than the V10. It will also have two plugs per cylinder to maximize fuel economy and so that there is no unburnt fuel exiting the combustion chamber. It is supposed to be more fuel efficent than the V10 but do the same job that the V10 could do.

Just a word of caution never be first in line to buy something new and unproven. Regardless what you hear from manufacturer about it`s performance. Ford has a horrible track record as of late Do we remember the 6.0 diesel the 5.4 triton with it`s spark plug issue`s that was supposed to be the best thing going. Just be wise and don`t get sucked in easily.
