I had an 18ft Dynatrak with a 150 Johnson Fast Strike the reason they were so fast is they were made by Ebtide which they buit racing boats all I know is they were fast!

Raycraft was made near Toledo Bend if I remember correctly. Supposed to be super tough. A good friend of mine had a Spirit when we were in high school. Looked like a Skeeter. It was 18ft and stupid fast with a 150 Yamaha.

I owned a 1980's model Webcraft bass boat, a good boat with a 150 merc, and still hunt out of a Roy Roger bass boat make in Sherman. Also owned a Sprint, Javelin, and Cobra. Looks like i owned a lot of out of business boats.

Porpused, unless 2 fat guys sat up front. (wasn't usually a problem)

17' Laser rated for a 150hp. had 175 Merc, 1 to 1 lower unit, boysen reeds, horizontal reed plates, big jet carbs, cut exhaust.
26 pitch chopper. would run 83mph. Back in the late 80's that was smokin'. Very hard to control over 70 mph. Leading the take off pack at this time was high priority for me. Early twenties and stupid. Light hull, not a rough water boat at all but fast.

Support the sport. Take your kids fishing.
