I would go with the Super Bait Tank II or Grayline Bait Tanks. Both are top of the line tanks that can keep 4" to 6" gizzard shad alive for days in Texas summer heat. I guessing that you pontoon is 23' to 25'. If thats the case then you could go with the 50 gallon model. Both brand would cost you around $500. What are you gonna fish for? What kind of bait are you planning to keep? If you're gonna fish with minnows only then this would be overkill.

If you're talking shad, take a look at these. They're built by George "Sunshine" Lening, one of the original Six Old Geezers on Lake Texoma. They've become the standard up here, and service is local: www.baittanksbysunshine.com mark www.texomasportfishing.com

Super bait tank II and Sunshine are very good, can't go wrong with them. The best imo is Creekbank. http://www.creekboats.com/tank_home.htm Grayline is average.

The sunshine tank and they grayline are both great bait tanks. See which one fits your boat best and go from there.

I forgot about him doing that, JD is right. It sure is nice to have one that really fits and does not get in the way. My 40 gallon grayline was nice, but it sure did get in the way a lot of the times. Now, I know what I will do in the next boat to free up room for me, guests, etc.....
