Went to pines tues. and wed. and had a blast didnt even hit 155. Caught 30 tues. fishin around copeland creek and turned around wed. and started there and didnt get bit but twice. Moved over to alley creek and ended up catchin over 40. never stopped movin and had some dead zones but made out with plenty of fish. rattle trap all the way. had two 4's and a 6 1/2. and plenty "keepers. started from sunup to sundown. and tues was main lake points, wed was anywhere there was any grass. rippin the trap through in 4-7 ft. alley and past pump station out of copeland creek. heard the bite was slow today though.

The Pines is a blast right now. Gotta be the best Spring time lake in East Texas.

Johnson ramp is good, i like to put in at the lone star ramp in the summer and drop the trolling motor and just start fishing.

there are alot of god ramps on pines. I put in at copeland and usually fish there then go across to alley. alley creek has a good ramp. really just depends where u wanna fish there is a good ramp close by anywhere. 155 is good fishin but ohter end of lake. but awesome fishin and good fish caught there all the time. take ur pick. ill be hittin hard an heavy. gotta brave the weather tom an try to get a limit at sandlin ina tourney but ill be back on pines asap

How is the ramp at Copeland? We used to have a trailer at Pop's way back when and fished it when I was a kid. I intend to go there to the Pines next weekend. Thanks.

copeland is good ramp and usually not too bad crowd wise. ramp is good as any an no fee to launch either. wind usually blows str8 intot but not really a problem. my girlfriend lives on 726 so i launch there all the time. and good fishin there plus boat lane takes u str8 to alley creek.
