went out and fished about an hour this evening......didnt mark but one decent school (getting my new graph this weekend) if it was a school, caught 17, with 4 fish minimum 14".....all on Hell/pet....didnt try to slab any fish....no hybrids

fish appeared a bit scattered but had a feeling if I had fished longer could have definitely gotten on them......ANYONE ELSE FISH TODAY????? WERE???

fished from 4 to dark today w buddy....fish still scattered. Caught majority Midlake humps 14-18ft w few deeper....caught 25-30 dinks and 15 keepers, mainly 14'' to 17''ft

All on Hell/pet #1 and #13

FISHED ONE HUMP FRIDAY AFTERNOON FOR ABOUT 1/2 HOUR WITH HELL/PET. FISH WERE STACKED AT 12'. CAUGHT & RELEASED 26, MOST WERE NICE SIZED.

GUESS I JUST PICKED THE RIGHT HUMP.

Went out Fri. night with my neighbor Ron. Fished from about 9-11P in the Star Harbor area. Wind was out of the South about 10mph.

1 catfish ~1 1/2LB, 1 Black about the same and a yellow about the size of a #15 Pet Spoon. Slow fishing but a great night to be on the water.

Weather report Sat. night said it will stay warm for a little while longer. From the above reports, sounds like the fish are in transition.

I will give you a buzz the next few weeks (get some colder weather) and we will try a bit of night fishing........looks like the fishing has been very unpredictable..I really believe that not only weather pattern but approaching full moon makes day fishing more difficult..overall I would have loved to catch more #'s of larger fish....but the weekend overall was decent.....key was to keep moving until you found consentrations / schools of fish.....but isnt that NORMALLY what a successful fisherman should do!?!?!??!?!....the fish are ALWAYS there!!!!!!......just gotta find them and entice them to bite!!!!

Went out saturday morning looking for hybrids on south end of the lake,no luck.Caught lots of dink sandies at the spillway humps.Headed back north to one of my favorite shorelines and found the keepers stacked up in 12ft.water.Slabed some up but most caught on a shallow running crankbait.

Were you using 2 oz slabs for hybrids???? I have caught my biggest Hybrids on DD22's, Bill Norman Deep lil N in crome.....around Crappie Island humps / ledge......also have had success w HELL/SPOON combo (my largest on CC was an 8lb caught July) Havent hooked one since

Greek angler-I guess the way I worded sounded like I found keeper hybrids,what I found were keeper sandies.We have been catching hybrids for the last few weekends but not this one.Same areas you spoke of and a few a little north of there.Big slabs,hellpets and DD22's are what we used.All have came out of 12 to 18ft. water.
