I guess everbody is aware of the cold front coming Saturday. It is not going to be around long but drastically different temps from Friday and Saturday.
Do you fish a spring cold front as if you were fishing for bass in the winter months.
I guess what I am asking, since the water temp is rising and the bass are staging to shallower water do they remain active as if it were higher temps? What kind of presentation changes,if any would be neccessary. I guess the Barometric pressure changes as well.

The pressure will change as the front approaches and exits. The water wont cool a lot with a cold front, water always warms faster than it will cool. Air temps is all it has to cool water, but direct sun and air temps will warm it faster. The 1 thing that will cool it, is the rain. The fish will still be in the area, but if they arent locked on a bed, im assuming they will just drop a tad deeper. I could be wrong, Fish were caught in 1' of water when it was 44 degrees. I think the presentation will be something slower during the front.
