I am new to this forum and to fish finders. Asking for some help on the basic settings
I am looking for any input to help identify fish and brush piles. Transparency, colorline, sensitivity, fishsymbols whether to use or not. This thing looks to be a great gadget if I knew what I was looking at. Thanks in advance

go to lowrance website and make sure you have the lastest software then try these setting.

sentivity 78-82
color line 74
ping speed 75
chart speed default

noise reduction low
surface clutter low

go sonar menu and go under sonar features and put it in shallow water mode. its set a general issue as default.

This is pretty close to what I'd do.

I'd add fish symbols = Off.
