 Looking to take the kids out for trout..Help

I wanted to take the kids out trout fishing. Is there any parks close to Rockwall or garland that stocks trout? Thanks

Its a tad late. There may be some fish left (I've caught one as late as May before) but most will be fished out making it a lot harder to catch them.
If you're just looking to put them on some fish, take them to Samuel Farms in Mesquite with a box of worms. The pond on the West end closest to the road is loaded with bluegill.

Try the Ablon Park in Garland, also theres a "pond" in Rowlett, they didnt stock it with trout this year, but it's a nice place. Go thru Waterview to the soccer fields and your there.

ya might have better luck with catfish or sunfish
