I'm considering buying a pair from the company. Cabelas has a 8-12 week backorder on them. Does anyone on here have a pair who can offer some reviews?

I noticed that there are ten reviews on the Cabelas webpage for the shoe. My experience has been that Cabelas does not remove bad reviews, I've seen some stinkers so it ought to be fairly unbiased.

the one thing I'd recommend would be neoprene gaiters. Those low shoes tend to collect gravel which starts being a hassle after a bit

+1 on the gaiters. I did see some waders that have that had biuld in to sand gravel guards. Do the wader attached guards work as well as the gaiters?

I couldn't tell you, perhaps some of the others who have used both will chime in here (hint hint fellers )

I do own a pair of those Korker Torrent wading shoes. They are very narrow and I don't have a wide foot. I'm not happy with them. I was going to use them with no socks for the warm waters around here during summer time but there is no way I can do that with how uncomfortable the shoe is. I got mine for $30's in Colorado because I liked the idea of switching the soles out for all around use. Just make sure you try them on before. It's a shoe you have to wear a sock with.

Korkers had a good idea, but they really have chosen some bad lasts for their shoes. Absolutely too narrow and short for normal feet. The toe box shrank on my boots and rendered them useless. If there's any doubt - go bigger!
