Sorry no crappie report here. I bought an 87 Hydra Sport w/Johnson 120 HP about 4 weeks ago. Just got boat out of shop having new impeller replaced to be on safe side. Sunday was first chance I've had to test boat out in the water. My younger brother & my Dad went out with me to test the boat out. It was a great afternoon on the water. Water calm & nice sunshine. Gave me a chance to check out problems in boat. Boat loves to spin to the right, so I've to do a little adjusting there. Fishing seats plus passenger/driver side all sitting on pedestal mounts. Not happy with that arrangement for passenger/driver, so I think I will design a box arrangement to mount seats to. Trolling motor decided not to work after running in yard, so something else to checkout. Also found out that bunkpad brackets are shot...So now know what I need to work on. Ready to wet a string & test the water out. My dad is 77 & had a blast out on the water. He loved hearing that motor opened up & running... We did get a chance to to check out a private pond & catch a few small dinks...

Good to see you and your dad got out on the lake! Sorry to hear about the repairs it needs. You should have it up and ready as the spawn gets in full swing.

Thks for the encouragement... Just hearing/seeing that motor run ok on the open water was good news to me. I took the time this time to purchase a compressiong gauge so I could check the motor out before hand. Got burnt on the last Skeeter I bought because of this. So a few minor problems & everything will be ready to go.
