If you really want to know what a wake is then fish the dam on a busy weekend in June-August and see what a 20ft+ wakeboard boat digging in withing 50 ft of you will do. That is a real wake right there.

Found this in another post under "Operation of Your Boat". Not being a smart-arse, just sharing information I didn't know. Looks like I need to read up on this stuff.

Me either. All I saw was........
2.Operate so as to cause a hazardous wake or wash.
I guess that one would be wide open for interpetation by the person/GW who observed. That's the only thing I've been able to find. noidea

Fish are there. Fished yesterday and caught fish on a 1/16 pink jig with a white curly tail grub. Fish slow. All males. The water seemed much cleaner than over the weekend.

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, he'll be gone every weekend.

Yeah, Buck - I remember. Good to hear from you. Did the jerk in the red Stratos blow by you?

Nope never saw the Stratos, I have had them blow by me though, happens all the time, and sometimes they do slow down-mostly to ask where did I catch those at LOL.

I was out yesterday at Henrietta hole and caught several I was only keeping 14 inch and bigger and wound up keeping 12. Most were males that I caught. It was a good time. This is my first time to post but I have been reading for a while and have really learned alot from all of you.

Also there is a tree right in the middle of the channel now just down from the submerged dam. Be careful luckily I was barely moving because I was trying to find where this dam is. It pratically raised my boat out of the water. When I got around the bend I saw 2 boats headed strait toward it on plane. Hope it didn't gem them.
