ha thats funny you posted this. I decided today that i was gonna run it this year. I figure since we havent had anyone run it in the past few years i could take that responsibility. I think we will get a better turnout if one person is running it and passing out flyers. If one of yall would like to help me that would be great. I am prining up flyers tomorrow and gonna pass them out and take them to some tackle shops. I also wanted to have a end of the year championship this year. Weatherford is a much better lake than worth and they have a great turnout for their working man. I think ours can be better.I was gonna wait till april 8 to start bc i had heard nothing about it and wanted to get the word out but ill be there thursday.

I wouldn't go as far as saying weatherford is better than worth they are both great little lakes and both have some big fish! I like you idea JT but don't want to turn this into a competion with the lake worth tournament as I will fish some of them also, I think we would have a better turnout if there is some kind of foundation and we know someone will be there to take money and names, and weigh in fish. Let me know if you need help with passing out flyers I live and work in weatherford .

great man come on out. Were gonna take a vote on thursday about a few things that will start up the following week.
One idea is to raise the entry to 30$ and have 5$ go to big bass and 5$ go to end of year championship. and to be eligible to fish the championship you mush fish 5 Thursday nights.
I feel this would be great and really give back to the guys who come out every week.
I have only put out like 5 fliers so it will still be ok to change it.

Not sure you would get much response from raising the entries. The lake isn't big enough to draw a lot of numbers, and the loyal guys are the ones that fish it every week. If you price it out of the comfort level then the regulars will stop showing up

Now that the lakes full I think ill try to make a few of these. That ramp is the main reason I never fish there anymore. Have they ever fixed it.

It's been fixed. It's just not fun to launch when the lake is super low like it has been in the past, now we can launch 2 at a time.

If you got $50-$80 entry fees on other lakes around the corner and still get 20-35 boats, and raising $5 should not run anybody off most should be for it..Specially to get a side pot for a championship at the end of the year that we have never had out there..
