I am not happy with ESPN. Dang near all the articles on the Bassmaster site are "INSIDER". This is BS! I pay for my BASS membership and these should be included in the price. I have had this problem with the site for a while with other sports reporting, but today it really ticked me off when I go to the home page of an organization that I AM A MEMBER OF and I can't read half the articles. Just a complaint that I hope someone at ESPN sees...fat chance.

I feel the same way.I subscribe for the information and intertainment. Now they decide they are gonna seperate the good info and articles from the bad or ordinary info.BS!!!!!!!! Just a sprinkle for the magazine and the rest you pay more for.

Another one of the reasons I dropped BASS altogether. Did not like the way they were heading and did not see where I was getting any value from them.

I kinda feel the same way. If ya belong to a B.A.S.S. affiliated club you get insider membership free. It's still a bit of a marketing scam.

Businesses have to make money to survive.

I'll agree that BASS and ESPN have made some poor decisions in the recent past. BASS is not the same organization I joined many years ago.

The US economy does not resemble anything I have seen in my almost 50 years of life. The financial environment in which we live today is in upheaval. The cost of doing business has expanded tremendously in the past 18 months.

To think that an organiztion born and raised on the backs of the average fisherman paying nominal dues would not have to change to remain viable is naive.

I understand the frustration of all BASS members. I'm one of you and have been for 30+ years. However, I also accept the difficult operating environment our organiztion is faced with. Things will never be "the same", but I'm going to stand by BASS and be around when the fishing economy stabilizes, hopefully.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

I dumped them. Got sick of never getting my Magazine. And, the English League Soccer Sat Mornings instead of Bassmaster Re-runs or
some other Fishing show. Versus blows there line up away.

I quit BASS..not a good value for the money in my opinion. On the techniques articles it seemed like the same stuff over and over - my opinion anyway....

and if you want to thrive in this business environment - give BETTER service to the customer....and a BETTER product that is worth the money.

Fishing Arkansas and Florida. Retired, driving Rangers, catching bass, releasing them live and loving it.
