Fished from sunup to 3pm and caught three fish all before 10am in same cove. The bite was nowhere to be found after 10am. The first fish was a 7 caught in 2ft of water on a super brush hog she was full of eggs. Second was a 5.5 caught at mouth of cove on a red rattletrap in 10' of water. Third was a 4 caught on brush hog also in back of cove in 4'. All in all I am glad I made the decision to head out at midnight last night.

People think I am crazy when I leave the house before 4 am. They just don't understand the morning bite. I am starting to learn to fish in deeper water and hopefully that will help with the non-morning bite.

You are crazy for leaving at 4 to get their for the morning bite. It is worth it though. I left at 3:45 sat to get out their.

Wish I'd gone with you today, I caught 10 fish all on a red rattle bait but my biggest was only 4lb. Caught them from 8:30 to 2:30, when the sun went away so did my bite.

YES. I dont fish Fork that much to compare but for a monday and spring break and all it seemed busy to me

i lie to people when they ask me what time i wake up for a tournament or i'm afraid they'll put me in an institution.. I set my alarm for 2:30 for a tournament on Saturday, but I woke up at 2 because i was excited

I really didnt leave at midnight I decided to go at midnight, slept for four hours and left at 4am. Looks like I was off by a day some big fish caught on Fork today it looks like!

I just got home from fork. Fished glad for 3 hours this am and 2 hours in birch. Not a bite. I did notice the massive amount of bait fish on the birch creek bridge. only 3 empty pillers all the way down the crappie are thear and Im bettin the bass are close to that bait.had to get home but going back with a jiggin spoon tomorrow.
