Never fished for Hybrids just LMB. What Lure can I use at Canyon that I can Troll around. I dont have any rigs or anything. Just something I can buy at academy and put on the end of my rod and ride around the lake some and have fun. Thanks in Advance

I too would like to know being as I've never done it and have no clue where to begin. But I have a working boat and tackle and a lake two blocks from my house.

Try a Hellpet... Look it up on Hall Dodd's Magnum Sand Bass website.
Plain Hellbender would work also.

I caught around 15 white bass last night fishing in front of the dam with minnows. I caught them in 30-40ft in brush. I always thought white bass just roamed the open lake but everyone I caught last night was tight to cover. They never did quit, I just ran out of bait.

White Bass will hang close to cover, Particular at night, if the baitfish are there, They are like me and like to eat.

jor, you can use just about any deep diving lure when trolling for them I like to troll with a lure that gets down around 20 feet or so with a lot of line out, sometimes they do not need to be that deep however.

#13 Pet spoon (silver with white feather)works for me. Drag them around your main lake points. Hope this helps. Good Day ><{{*>

Hey jor, just an FYI...Canyon has pure stripers and pure whites, no hybrids at this time.
