Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has seen any action regarding the carp spawn and/or tilapia spawn at gibbons creek lately. I'm headed out that way this week to do some bowfishing any info would be helpful thanks.
There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace. Aldo Leopold

i saw a guy pull in a couple tilapia, he had is bass boat at the discharge and he didnt know what he caught. sure enofe it was a tilapia good size one too. carp not sure of.

Carp are in all the creek arms shallow. Just look for some splashing and you'll see them. There a ton of them right now.

There are 9 million Gibbons Creek Carp in the shallows right now.....kill them all !!!!!!

I went out to Somerville and me and another guy shot 65+ carp 2 weeks ago... And that was only in a few hours before we had to get back to work!
Saved by the Lord... glad to be an Aggie!

Well I did all right, only shot one carp and missed a gar, but tryin to fish for tilapia I got 3 carp over 10 lbs and broke my line twice (ultrlight rig with 4lb test) so not a bad fishin day.
