No shame in that, had my personal best in 1979 on Lake ZaZa Cuba on an 8in Rebel ring worm. Still have a couple in my worm box, won't ever put them on a hook.

I got 2 gallon sized bags of ring worms at last years Lake Fork swap meet. All this talk about ring worms makes me want to bust some out.

My 2

The first ringworms that I encountered, and fished with were the Rebel paddle-tailed ones.

I was particularly fond of the 4 inch ones in black/fire-tail.

The first ones I remember were the lucky strikes. You used to be able to get them by the tons at the Academy worm bin. I got lucky one day at an oshman's sporting goods where they had them for a penny a piece. That was in '88. That kept the worm pouch full for many years from which I still have quite a few from.
