Back for night 4! Fishing time: 10:00 PM-10:30 PM: 5 Slab Crappie, 1 more Magnum Yellow Bass, countless "normal" small yellows, and one MLB in the 4-5 lb range that straightened the hook on my 1/32nd oz UNPAINTED jig head! Black/chartreuse did them in tonight! Another hefty Yellow: First nice crappie: Slab #2: #3: #4: #5: And, a group photo: Oh yeah and for the record, the wedding party that was rehearsing down there on Friday night, mentioned in my post "My version of Fast Food", was there, and the wedding was in full effect! They gave the bride and groom a sendoff to the honeymoon, by having them walk under a long canopy of sparklers, held high by the wedding guests! Pretty cool! Rudy

Hey Rudy what time did you get out? I went out last week and caught a couple of nice slabs and a LMB. I haven't caught any yellow yet, will be going back out this week. If you are going back out this week let me know, been a long time since I got to fish w/ya.

Added Wednesday night, St. Patty's Day night, '10. Fished from 10 PM-10:30 PM: After i caught these two, the yellow bass came in by the hordes, and I caught them, one on every cast, for about 20 minutes straight, but they were not the "jumbo" yellows I caught last week! These were the run of the mill, small to average ones you catch almost anywhere at any time around here. As you can see, the black/chartreuse tube, on a 1/16th. oz UNPAINTED jig head, did them in tonight. BTW, the wind was howling and it was actually COLD out there tonight! Rudy

The only one that could make contribution to this thread for today's episode--3/18/10, was Richie Rich: a nice keeper crappie! For whatever reason, it just WASN'T happening tonight for either one of us! Anyway, Here's Richie's fish: Slow night on the papermouths! Rudy
