Got out on EM around 9:45am and fished til 2:00 with a grand total of..........0 fish. Yep, it wasn't pretty. I'm not sure if the light rain turned off the bite, if I just got out there too late or I just suck that bad!! laugh I met a couple of TFF'ers out there and would like to "Hi" and its nice to put some names with faces. And if ya'll had better luck than I did, please speak up. The good news is, it can only get better from here.

Wes,

Don't beat yourself up. Some don't have the
privilege to be on the water. Every trip is a
great privilege to me. Fish are a "bonus". Skunks
happen more times than I care to admit. They do
stink but, keep us humble. Bet you didn't think
about life's problems on the water? Yes, it will
get better and no you don't suck. Your time frame
is exactly the time I prefer to fish and do best
on EM. Mountaintops inspire us. Valleys mature
us.

Amen David....

I fished Buchanan Sunday early with just one keeper white bass and one keeper LMB--threw them back to catch another day. All the rest of the fish we caught were tiny.

We were definitely in need of some peace and nature's relaxation. It does wonders for your appreciation for life.

We got out, we had fun, and we came back safely--we're very thankful for that opportunity to get out and enjoy the lake.
God is great!!!!

Wes,

The girls and I went to the dam after talking with you. No luck there either. It was a great day despite the fish. Enjoyed visiting with you. I agree with David and Ram, God is great and we are blessed to be able to do what we do and meet nice folks such as yourself.

I agree 100%. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. I guess it was just bad day or bad timing. Thats why its fishing not catching. I will see ya'll out there soon. Take care.

Thunderbolt,,,, Great to meet you on EM yesterday!!! I had my new granddaughter of 3 months old on the boat yesterday trying to teah her how grandpa catches fish... Well I hope she doesn't remember this lesson because I too went ZERO fish from 7am until 3pm,,, not even a dink ??? I have never been skunked on EM before,, guess as David says it keeps us all humble and thats a verygood thing. It also allowed me to gooo and gaaa with the granddaughter and enjoy a nice boat ride. Hope to see ya on the lake more now that we have met. Going back out today to try some more with the son in law.
Later

Zero fish
