 Troll Motor Problem

Hello to all.........troll motor will kick on and run by itself while boat is sitting,,have to unplug during the day while not in use, 82lb Motorguide digital, i hit the switch and it goes off, walk off and leave it...it will come back on ???, where do i start ??...This is weird, pedal switch or relays?

Its probably the switch. You can try using a Volt meter to verify it.
It may be adjustable or a mechanical fix might be possible.
