Hey Guys, My Wife just hit Me up to go to the Lake next Weekend
which I can guarantee You is a first. It Turns out that She has an Aunt and Uncle from Colorado Who are staying there in a Cabin for the Month and They invited us to come up as well as some other Family. I am going to take the Boat but I have never fished the Lake and I really don't know what to expect other than clear and rocky. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated as to what the fish might be doing and what type of areas might be productive. Thanks for Your help, Jody

We will be staying at PK Lodge on the East Side. Any Tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What is this Lake like in the Wind? I have a 17ft Boat. Thanks.

I had a trailer in the PK Lodge cove which is Deep Elm Creek for 25 yrs. There was very good bass & crappie fishing around the docks in the end of the cove. Also as you come past PK Lodge heading out to the lake fish the left(south) bank. The lake is within a foot of being full so there should be lots of cattails in the water on that end of the lake.

It did, but they did a KILL OFF and the lake has been recovering and its actually doing fairly well with all species of fish. Everyone has basically marked it off the map so its been somewhat un touched for quite sometime. Decent bass in the 2-5 pd range still alot of dinks thou!

Easy to fish in the wind as its a winding river type reservoir. If its to windy just go around the next bend. Kind of like Granbury with better scenery.
