 Need help with my bird

today I was trying to update my hummingbird 1197 and lost power while it was updating. now it just keep blinking "loading" when I try to boot it up. Is there anything I can do to get it working for next week with out sending it in?

Never heard of that one before. I'd send a PM to Eddie@Humminbird on here and then call customer service Monday morning at 8am. Did you take the card out with the power off and try re-inserting it? Maybe you should try just starting from scratch? Will it let you get to the menu to restore defaults?

I read somewhere about some guys that had a similar problem and I think they used the humminbirdPC software from here to get it running again. do you have humminbirdPC and the cables to connect to your unit? I know this reply is short on details, but maybe there is hope that you won't need to send it in. Good luck
