Buddy and I were fishing Ray Roberts right before a front blew in, we caught 7 bass in less than 30 minutes that went from 6 to eight pounds and broke one off, had a very similar deal on Moss Lake with them ranging from 5 to 7 pounds.

I have had 12 100fish days on fork size ranging from 1lb to 11lbs.

Also took Chad Griffin out one saturday on Fork and we made 8 cast with a Codys Craw Ezee draggin jig and had 7 bites, boated 5 for 49-50lbs

also has a 33lb tourney sack on Falcon two weeks ago during Bass Champs

July 2000. Lake Fork. Friday afternoon. 45 pounds on five fish in 30 minutes. Carolina rigged LFT merthiolate trick worm off a main-lake ridge. The fish were suspended in a submerged tree. Big fish was 10.48 and we boated 52 that day between 1 and 5:30PM that averaged better than 5 pounds.

Actually, I was there all week and that was one of the finest weeks of fishing Fork I have ever experienced. We had three double-digits that week.

Probably when I broke the Lake Bachman record or catching a 6.4 in Jersey when I was 18. Fishing with Iaconelli last month was something to remember also.

1983 Lake Fork. My brother in law and I caught nearly 100 bass in one day. And the best part don't remember seeing anyone else all day. Them were the days. You could go all day and never another soul till you got back at the only ramp at Oak Ridge.

Believe it or not, Ray Hubbard, coming off a runoff. Me and a partner caught about 30 a piece in less than 30 minutes. I laid my rod over with the crank in the water with only about 2 ft of line out so I could get a pic of me holding one and a fish grabbed it and I almost had to go swimming for my Johnny Morris smile

October 1996...Was fishing in a creek on Granbury not having any luck. I notice a lot of splashing and commotion in the back of the creek in the shallows and thought "well at least there are carp in here". I keep fishing my way back towards the splashing carp not getting a single bite so Im getting a little bored so toss a big topwater plug at the splashing carp. As soon as the bait hit the water it disappeared in a giant splash. My rod got heavy and fought the huge carp to the boat and thats when I realized it was a bass. I threw back in there and caught another and this went on for an hour. I quit counting after 40 fish, the biggest I say was 8lbs and i missed one at the boat I estimate at 9 or 10. It was one of those being in the right place at the right time kind of things.

Jay and I went out to lake waco for a few hours before class. Wound up with 21 pounds on our best 5 in less then an hour. probably culled a 16 pound stringer. Never had a day even close to that one. All in one spot. They were stacked up.

ive had some reallly good days on power plant lakes with best 5 going 30+ pounds. my best numbers day believer it or not was on cypress springs in june of 07. they were stacked on a hump out in front of where the old crappie barge was. i lost count of how many i caught but it was easily 200 fish while fishing with my dad, i guess i had a few more than he did cause he was getting tired of throwing a deep diving crankbait. fish ranging from 1 to 6#s. best 5 probably went about 18 pounds. all mine with the exception of a few came on a peral shad fat free shad crankbait.

mid 80s on Lake Kissimmee in Florida. I was in high school and my cousin had just graduated I think. We were invited at the ramp that morning to fish a tourney but we decined cause we had no money for entry fees.

That day we caught 4 fish over 10 pounds and multiples in the 6-9 pound range.....the wind was blowing...it was raining off and on and we were fishing a huge miles long grassline...flipping worms in the grass. Easily caught over 100 bass that day.

One bass that went 10+ pounds my cousin brought to the boat and the bass threw the hook ...I was watching the whole thing and had my bait up near the boat....and in some reaction form when the fish threw the hook I threw my bait over near it and bam...I caught the fish. It was bizzare.

We fished til midnight I think...but took our best five to weigh in at 3pm.....We had 46 pounds and something ounces....The winners of the tourney had 32 pounds.

April 91'Fork. Had caught only 3 fish all day and went to my last spot at 3PM. Caught 26 in 2 hours on sluggos and not one was under 5 pounds. Ran out of film in the camera after the first 10. Simply amazing.
