Got on the water at 10:30 this morning & started looking. You can read John Varner's report to see what happened up until about noon. Wind got up & fish surfaced between the jetty & Robertson Park. We had a steady bite for a good while with only 4 boats working the fish: me, JV, and 2 others. BUT....and here's the good part....I went back to the ramp by the Texas Queen & waited out the wind, then when it eased up I went out to the spot I had marked on my GPS yesterday, and there they were! Surfacing fish from 12:30 till 3:00, and I was the only boat there. Caught 122, including small sandies, big sandies, and several hybrids. It was pretty awesome. East side of Robertson Park in 27 to 34 ft. water. Using chrome rainbow slab, sassy shad, & clear tiny torpedo. John, wish you had been there.

Doug I was out there last sat. morning in the wind and the shad, (Big Shad) were busting the surface on the East side. I got my rod pulled out of my Hand. It was a BPS spiral rod (Blue) and a 4600 garica reel. Anybody find it or snag it. 20.00 reward.
I'm going out in the morning. If any other TFF members are out there I would like to meet some of the Hubbard regulars. I'm not sure the boat I'll be in the morning , My boat is in the shop again.

WOW! Doug looks like you tore the fish up after we left We probably only caught 15 or 20 the whole day. Only three of the fish where ok size. We caught all of our fish on salbs, hell/pet, and rattle traps. fowltrouble2
