I got 7 days off starting next week and would like to take off on a fishing trip somewhere. I've been fishing Martin, pines, perky and welsh, need a change. Any suggestions?

Bob Sandlin should be just right for next week, thats where I would go. Also they are moving up on Palestine (if you know your way around the lake)

Sandlin sounds nice, been wanting to fish it for quite sometime now. Less then 2 hours away as well.
How is TB and Rayburn this time of the year?

I've got a friend fishing Rayburn this week but haven't heard from him. Sandlin is a lake that you can be successful on even if you've never been on it. Great State Park if your camping.

Falcon. Nice change of scenery for a piney woods man.

Falcon or Amistad. Falcon already has lots of fish up close/on beds. They are ready to move up at Amistad if they didn't do so this week. Choke Canyon is ready also. Lost of fish moving up there.

I've been fishing Martin, pines, perky and welsh, need a change. Any suggestions? Shoot... if I had a week off, I would go to South Louisiana and look for some reds and speckled trout. That would be a definite change! You could even swing by New Orleans for a night or two...
Let us hope that the bass do not find the equivalent of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
