sure is a lot of folks fish there. for such a rural & low population county as san saba county i would've never imagined it could lure in this many fisherman.

Schott,
2" white, chartreuce, smoke clored grubs on a 1/16 oz jighead. or 1/16 oz roadrunners in same colors.
Silver panther martins or mepps like you use for trout in CO will work well too.
And then there is always minnows.

Bottom of ramp is in the water. However, if you try to back your boat all the way in, your wheels will drop off the slab. And more than likely you'll have to have help getting your vehicle back up the hill. And possibly a bent up trailer and axle, depending on how big your wheels are.

Went yesterday!! It was pretty good. Floated around in a tube. Had a limit in less than 2 hrs. I think you can get a boat up there from Tow but be carefull. A friend of mine said a 19' center console was up there the other day. Water has come up a little more.

Got back after lunch today.
Limited out yesterday afternoon in about 2 1/2 hrs, put in this morning about 9:00 and caught 21, could have easily limited out but had to get out at noon to head home for prior engagments.
Fishing from kayak across from boat launch area using 2" sassy shad with blue back and 2" smoke colored grubs.
Water is a little off color but not affecting the fishing at all.
