I'm taking a trip with my grandparents down to Biloxi this summer and was wondering if anyone had any good experience with some inshore guides or charters down there. We all wanna fish but I figure a good charter trip would be best thing to keep their... well our casino urges under control. Not deep sea or over night or anything... I've looked online and some seem just fine. It'd be cool if anyone on here had any first hand knowledge though.

Biloxi is a troubling spot as far as my experience. I have not found a good inshore guide , It is a long boat ride to good inshore fishing. Not much going on at the beach front. Most of the guides there are great at taking tourists on boat rides disgueised as fishing trips. I had a fellow that was pretty good , I think he ran in to hard times after the hurricane. Deep water is a long way off, we ran 50 miles one year to catch snapper.
A 2o mile run will put you in a good position to catch shark , jacks and redfish. The redfish school offshore in huge numbers. It is federal water and all taken must be released. there is some good redfishing in Mississpi sound. If you find a good guide, let me know. We go down there often , I need a new contact.
If you want to fish in Delacroix, La, I know someone there.

I saw that site. The price seems reasonable.. I'm not that impressed by their testimonial pics though. Could just be that thanks to TV my expectations might be too high.
I didn't know you couldn't keep the redfish there. I support catch and release in most cases but I still would like to bring at least a couple back for the grill/fryer after a charter trip

You can keep redfish if they are caught in state waters, if you are out in federal waters, they must be released. ( this is everywhere )
A really fun trip is going out to the island , anchor up and chum. You will catch all the blacktip shark up to around 4 ft that you can handle. I've done this on my own boat.
good luck MO
