My youngest daughter wants to go fishing this weekend, but Raybob is slow, and Grapevine ramps are closed from what I heard. What lakes around the metromess would ya'll suggest? It doesn't matter to her what we catch so if crappie, bass, sandies, what ever are hitting somewhere, would ya'll care to share?
Thanks,
Bassdreamer

Thats a Tough one. With all the Rain, The Lakes are High, The Water Color is Jacked Up. And they Are dropping water levels. The Bite has been bad for me latly at Lewisville. But, I have not been since last Sat. I was after LMBS. The White Bass at that Lake can be VERY GOOD. Not sure right now. If you go, Look for the White Birds. Thats where The Bait will be. My kids Love to catch The Whites. Anyway, Good Luck ! Sorry I couldn't be more Help.

BassDreamer, Shoot on down here to Waco, bring your daughter and and a couple more folks. I have a special going and the big blues are biting and the white bass are very active in the rivers. A trip would cost about the same as filling up the boat 2 to 3 times!
