Yep these (New Styled Ring Baits) ie: (rattlesnakes) have been around for years just modified by several different manufacturers like every other bait out there!

Oh good lawd....here we go again.
Ford was the first massed produced automoble, but most of you jokes that get into these arguments don't drive Fords.
So what the point? fish with what you have confidence in and don't be such a internet fisherman and a troller!

Let the games begin. I bought a pack last week of the Sidewinders at Academy and try them out this weekend. Just looking at them I don't see much difference. Now one plastic by Stanley I have not seen out there or any copies of are the Y-nott's. They are pretty cool. I got some of them too.

Gene Larew is the one to get ALL the credit for the original design. Here's a picture of his original ringed worm. LFT improved it, Grande improved it to what they wanted it to do and then we made some changes to it to make it do what we wanted it to do. Stanley jigs tried to buy us and/or another company out back in the spring of 2009, at the request of Academy Outdoors. When that mission failed, they told me that would just copy me if we didn't sell to them. So, here came the Sidewinder. I even knew the name of the bait before they even came out with it, as they told me the name they would call it. Lonnie invented the ringed worm in between his work with the experts that were thinking about inventing the internet. I heard he had just finished his work inventing the light bulb when he thought up the Sidewinder. Everyone should just use what they have confidence in and/or what they catch fish on. There are tons of great baits out there that catch fish. But, I feel a lot of the success that fishermen have is directly related to the confidence they have in that bait.
