Marc Cecil and I went night fishing cc last nite. After hitting only a few docks the trim motor went off raising the big motor and draining the starting battery. We tried trolling back but mid lake the batteries died. WE saw a boat coming out of Dons Ports and was able to signal him with a green crappie light. HIt was a great guy named Steve fishing with Christian Cabal and another man. He towed us back to our launch area . I really appreciated it. A big THANX

Man, you lucked out. I'm glad that worked out for you. That would have sucked to get stranded on CC.
That Christian Cabel is something else.

Eric,
I'm glad we could help out. Being stranded at night could be a really bad thing. Hey, on the way back out we picked up a Hybrid or two out of that brightly lit dock in the cove where we dropped you.

That Christian Cabel is something else. Well I didnt do anything! I was just along for the ride, but yeah I'm glad we got to help you guys out. Well I dont think you guys missed out on much anyways... Seems that the fishing got progressively slower as the night wore out. I barely avoided a skunking at the end with a 2# hybrid.
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Steve thank you so much, that would have gotten real bad without the T/M from where you guys towed us from, but you know it really does'nt suprise me one bit, all you guys are members here at the TFF and all are class acts, again I can't thank you guys enough.
And another little thank you goes to Eric who I would have never fished with if it had not been for the TFF , Eric you have no idea how much knolege you have given me from the 3 trips we have fished together. Don't get me wrong it would have been nice to get into the fish Sat night but the knowlege I learned out weighs the catchin a hell of alot more.
And last, I have nothing for Cecil, hell I think I am not going to fish with him anymore, he has been kicking my a$$ on a regular basis and I am getting tired of it, just kidding ya buddy.
What an awsome web site
Thanks to all
Marc

Hat's off to you Christian and company for helping a guy out in his time of need. I'm sure the big guy upstairs put you in the right place at the right time. That is something that everyone is SUPPOSED TO DO...help a fellow boater out when they are in distress. I had help when I lost my lower unit in rough, and I mean rough waters, on Lake Buchanan one year. No one would come to my aid because they wanted to get off the lake before the front really came in. One guy came back for me and got me to safety. I thought my goose was cooked...boat after boat just ignored me. I will always stop what I am doing to help a boat in distress. Time to get your boats checked out before the fishihg gets really good fellas! R
Where do they go when they're not there???

I agree with you RAM and I know my buddy MARC would have done the same if we saw someone need some help. I'm just glad that there was not alot of boater out that night. And thank you for stop. I'm glad that GREEN CRAPPIE LIGHT came into good use.
Marc,
DON'T HATE IF YOU GOT OUT FISH BUY SOMEONE THAT DOESN'T HAVE A BOAT. JUST BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE SOMEONE THAT CAN GET FISH IN THE BOAT AND GET SOME PRODUCTIVITY OUT OF. I WOULD SAY THE SAME ABOUT YOU BUT I'M YET TO SEE.
ONE THINK I HAVE TO SAY BUDDY "FISH HARD"
