slow down guys.. take a deep breath.. do a little research.. and realize that fishing will not be banned.
Obama's administration is just drafting a strategy for fisheries management. EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT HAS DONE THE SAME!
Bush implemented "Catch Share" and Obama is reviewing it.
i mean really.. the chicken little act is getting old.

It wouldn't be such a chicken little act if there was even the semblance of trustworthiness in the office. For someone who promised transparency, there sure are some dark shadows.

dark shadows? the current administration is like cut diamond compared to the last. sure there are a few closed doors meetings, but come on.. give the guy a break.. I know it's important for some to think of him as some kind of socialist who wants to destroy this country, but at the end of the day hes just trying to strengthen our capitalist democracy and help the people most hurt by the economic downturn.
as for fishing.. He is backing the ban on Bluefin Tuna fishing for the foreseeable future. this is a good thing. nobody wants to see that fish go extinct except the Japanese who have millions of pounds of them in huge freezers just waiting for them to go extinct so the price will spike.
anyway. its a fishing forum.. no need for a political debate.. just trying to let everybody know that ESPN is full of it here.
fishing is not going to be banned.
