I lost two Lucky Craft Pointer 100's in the same day. It sucks, but thats the way it goes. Like Bassen said: Gotta pay to play!

If it stays in the box, isn't it just as 'lost'....?

Like paying for a case of beer, icing it down, and
savin' it?? For What? Not gonna' happen. smile

Lures are like golf balls, just don't get emotionally attached to them and don't buy something you aren't willing to let go of. smile

DT-6s used to be my down fall before I realized how those cranks dive. Then lucky craft became my nemesis. But h20 will hopefully help that. If you dont own a lure retrieving rod I recommend it. 18ft! After that you need a lure retriever on a string. You cant throw your crank the way you need to if youre worried about hang ups

I wouldnt be afraid to throw a ten or fifteen dollar lure at all, if I buy it I but it to use and not just sit in my tackle box. The only lure Im afraid to throw is an out of production square bill crank bait. This lure catches a lot of fish for me and I only use it when Im fishing a tournament. I think we all have a lure like that and thats the one we really dont want to lose.

Anything that will catch a kicker fish. Fish Fork one year at McDonald Tourn. Had bought a Castaic Shad. Cost $25 plus. Threw next to log, thought I was going to loose it. But pull one time and caught 7lber. Paid for my trip and a couple of more baits. Have lost several big money baits. But the ones you catch out way the price. Bigger is better!!!

i think the more money some of you guys spend on one lure makes you more confident when you throw that lure......sometimes catching fish has alot to do with attitude and confidence..... if u got something tied on that you KNOW will catch fish you fish one way... if you have something tied on that you are NOT confident in you just throw it out and there and see if something hits it..... if you fished with the confidence with the cheaper lures in the same styles ... i think the cheaper ones catch just as many... but that's just me and my experience.... but whatever you guys need to help you catch more fish!

with the cost associated with bass fishing, why would you be concerned about the cost of the most important piece of equipment-the lure! like most things i have found in life, you get what you pay for. don't get me wrong, some baits are designed to catch fishermen, not fish!

I have a 3:16 Lure company original Armageddon that put me back $250. It will catch big big bass but I only throw it during a very select time of the year. If I snagged it up I would seriously cry!!!

I fish shallow most of the time so I dont loose many baits unless I dont feel its worth going out of my way or spooking fish in order to get it back. If it's a $10 Terminator SB, its coming back with me.

$2.65 a gallon for gas....your spending that money and getting nothing in return. Why not a lure?

Most lures can be reached if they hang up.

I take it some of you aren't gamlbers? LOL! Shreveport doesn't give you money back when you leave!
