Someone asked on another thread how deep the fish are at Somerville. Here you go. Fished today with Michael Berg, dad Mike, and friend Richard, from Houston. Sprinkled rain most all morning, winds would go from strong to lite and back to strong again. Water temps were just under 55 degrees all morning. Bite was really lite, with many hooked in the wiskers even. Had to use the dip net to keep them from falling off before hitting the boat deck. The guys managed 45 keeper cats, with a couple pushing 4# size. Fish were on tight line, with SureShot punch bait, fish were in 7-10 foot water.

Nice job Mr. Kirk. Your reports keep giving me the itch to get back after those channel cats really soon.
