When everyone is talking about grass on Fork do they mean...hydrilla or that other plant that i am seeing alot of?Ive only fished the lake 3 times during the past two years and back in the past 8-15 years ago hydrilla was everywhere.Last saturday i fished in Little and big Mustang where i remebered it use to be and it was hardly there....very thin.

Yes hydrilla. It's not like it was 8-15 years ago but it's better than it was 5 to 6 years ago. Given how cold it's been there is a lot of grass out there. I'm hoping it greens up and comes back cause right now it's all dead.

I have started seeing it rebud out deeper ticking it with a DD14 crankbait.Thats a good sign for sure,hydrilla is a fish attractor for sure both hot and cold water conditions.

Most of the shallow grass doesn't look too good right now, but Tony is right, I found some out deeper that was nice and green last week.

I hope that deep stuff grows this year. Would make summer fishing so much better.

Lets just hope there is enough seed to make it grow back again. We need it to clear up the upper end.
