I was helping my uncle clean out one of his tackle boxes that he hasn't used in years. He's concentrated on saltwater fishing for the better part of the last 25 years, and I finally convinced him to go Bream fishing with me. He says he hasn't pulled out that particular box in 15-20 years. While we were going through what we could and couldn't save, I picked up a bright PINK crickhopper! It was the weirdest thing I've seen in a tackle box. I actually want one! We all know how vigorously bluegills attack loud and outrageous colors when they get mad. So what are the weirdest baits/lures you guys have seen? Artificial or bait; it doesn't matter. Thanks in advance! king

I decided to use a clear sabiki rig in murky water in a farm pond. I got 6 on a 7 hook rig in 5 minutes!

Those are all pretty weird. Makes the pink crickhopper look tame. I'll have to try that bobber with a treble tied under it. I have noticed in hottest summer that my bobber gets hit more than my fly, tube or other plastic sometimes. You got any pics of that bright yellow topwater Hillbilly?

Also, have caught on bread, corn, and a crankbait as nearly as big as the sunfish!

Have caught Trout on Popcorn, and on small Daisy flowers.
Was out one day at the city pond when the truck backed up to unload them and didn't have a rod on me. I ran to the house for the rod after I saw a kid throwing Crackerjack's at the fish. They liked the CJ. I made some quick microwave popcorn and ran back to the pond to catch several.
Luckily, I did have my stamp that yr.
