OK guys, I'm kinda new here but I am not new to bass fishing. I like to buy jigs that have tied skirts but the reality is I end up usually with jigs that have an elastic band that holds the skirt on. How about you? What is your preference and what do you usually end up with? Thanks for all comments.

I like wire. Flatlands Custom Tackle can make you some sturdy jigs.

I like jigs with skirts hand-tied with Kevlar thread, like the ones I buy from Black Angel Jigs.

We use 100% Kevlar to tie our with, but as long as it is tied with something it will work great. We use the thread because it less noticable that other methods

Several of us here who are active supporters of the TFF tie our jigs with either wire or thread. In our case, our hand tied jigs are wire wrapped and equipped with rattle bands.
