Thanks for the report. I like to hit that spot on the way home when I don't have time to drag out the boat. I have never done that good there but have heard the story's seem like it's been wet enough they should be able to get up this year. Might go by next week and mabey check out bear creek also.

I'm thinking of beating a path to the banks next Sunday. Does anyone know if this is normally a good place to fish with Minnows?
I haven't fished here in a long long time, so I just park at the end of the little road there and walk 100 yds to the river, find a spot and fish, right?

walk down till you get to where the power lines cross. thats is a good spot if nothing is down river to block them from getting that far, witch has been the problem i think last year. with all this ran if the water stays up and warms up that should be far enough .you dont find them there walk as far as you can. i have cought a fish or 2 on minnows there but i have never cought a bunch of fish there. i just know that it can happen if condtions are right. i would say road runners are your best bet.

Use to fish there alot years ago...One of the last times I was there fishing for Sand Bass I saw a few guys netting them...They had a net across the river and was pulling them out by the load..I guess thats why I didnt catch any that day !!!!! To top it off I think they were Illegals...The sad part is "even if the Game Warden caught them theres notting he could do but let them go"..

the water level at 377 is pretty deep, 3' or more and is moving very swiftly. i walked down a half mile or so.

i will likely be heading out there today at some point.
