Headed down to CC in a couple minutes. Gonna stop by Finny Tribe for a couple things, and have open back seat.

Not a teaching trip, just going to do some fishing...so bring your own gear please.

Plan is 3'-17' fishing jig/bobber, dock shooting, and some brush fishing.

I'll be launching from the free ramp down on SE end of the lake, last bridge south on 198, the Caney Creek Ramp.

First come, first serve...call my cell.

Well...did not have any takers, so I changed tactics. Went exploring a creek off the main lake that I had never been up, and was very good water. Went out brush hunting after that and picked up several new piles for spring/summer fishing.

Went over and fished a couple docks in 12', and brought home dinner.

A little rain, but was fun to be out there. Only saw one other boat.

Main lake is 49.7 degrees, and as warm as 57 way back in the creek. the arms of the lake are 50-54 degrees.

Caught several females yesterday with eggs ready to pop, but these temps gonna need to heat up some first.

It's always nice to get out and explore, sounds like a productive day.

Man I wish I would have seen this yesterday I would have been with you. Glad you had fun.

Glad you caught some fish. I am half way tempted to head to CC myself this weekend.
