I haven't been up the creek this year. I probably won't go up there either.

But, if you can make your way over to Murrell Park in the evenings, I think you could pick up some fish. It might not be fast and furious like a spring spawn run...but fish is fish. laugh

After this front passes the sandies should be up in Denton creek. I fished there a couple of times and did ok but nothing like last year. Hopefully this rain will fill the creek up a bit and get them going. Plus the algae was starting to show up on the edge of the creek, and when that happens for some reason the fishing shuts down. I'll be out there next weekend to check it out.
