Chad, I use a basic method all year, but I am not an old pro a Euro fishing.
Old fashioned oatmeal, quick grits, chili powder, can of cream corn. Then I may mix in some calf manna or rabbit pellets. I am seriously considering adding powdered kids milk from the feed store.

I use this year round. 1/2 chicken scratch, 1/4 slush (leftover grains from brewing / old grains from silos), cream corn, bread crumbs. I sometimes add fresh ground anise or put a little scopex.

Cold Water method * Pour boiling water on one part Calf Manna and let cool. * Add 1 part bread crumb. * Add a few particles.
Warm Water method * Same, with the addition of Honey Acorn flavored Buck Jam. This makes the method ball a bit firmer and the oil is a great attractor. If you use this oil in cold water the method ball may never break down. Other types of oils tend to lubricate the method so that it cannot be packed. However, Buck Jam has lots of sticky stuff in it including salt.

the only recipie ive used was one i recently got from scott which is;
2lb panko 3cups birdseed 1can creamcorn
ive only used it once but it caught me fish. im going to start using that one with regularity becasue its so inexpensive and easy to make! i just ordered some flavorings that i can use to flavor it up with, im assuming that you add the liquid flavoring to the liquid corn before you dump it in the mix?

chrismunn, where do you get the panko? All that I have seen is smaller containers and kind of expensive...
