I have a rod where the entire metal part where the reel is clamped to the rod will spin all the way around. Are there any suggestions to how to reattach this part of the rod to the blank? I hope this description will suffice.

If you're talking about the reel seat, I'd get some epoxy from Academy and see if you can fix it that way.... other than that, check for local rod/reel repair shops.

Yeah the best thing to do is epoxy it back on with 5 min epoxy. But if you are not comfortable doing it I would seriously recomend taking it to a repair shop/guy. I work for mike hedrix and I have seen him repair this before and it can get kind of messy sometimes.
