 Shark pole question

i will be going down to Galveston soon and will be fishing from the shore. my question is what action rod do yall use when shark fishing? this will be my first time shark fishing so anything helps. thanks in advance.

Might still be a little early for shark fishing from the beach. I usally start catching around the begining of May. I use two different set-ups. Rod-Shakespeare Sturdy Stick BWB-125 7'
Reels- PENN 320 GTI and Abu Garcia 7000C I use these for Shark, KingFish,Dolphin, Snapper. Been useing these rigs for over ten years no complaints. 20 lb test with a 3 foot wire leader.
