I dont understand why everybody tries to be so secretive about which lake. Its not like we know which creek or exactly where u were at. Just my .02! I dont mind telling which lake, and dont expect for people not to ask! Nice haul by the way. Not trying to be rude, most people are just that fired up about getting out and catching them right now!

Me neither.. I can show you a couple of creeks that everyone knows about that look like landfills because of all the trash that people leave. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out why guides don't give out exact detail of where fish are biting either.. The bottom line is all the internet posts in the world aren't going to put fish on your stringer. You still have to put in a little work. Find your own honey hole and you can make everyone else hound you!! grin

i agree that enough information (more than needed) was given. everybody ought to be proud for the guy and go find their own honey hole. like the previous poster said, do you want gps coordinates? lol.....

^^^^^ still a Rookie....... Would you go to that lake to fish it? What if it was in Mizzouri or Vermont for that matter? Everyone here gives the 3 "descriptions" that matter most 1) Depth 2) water temp 3) general location ie. coves, main lake, stumps, trees etc. that is more than enough to get you ahead of the power curve on ANY lake in your area so go fishin!

Yeah I agree it is a little ridiculous how people have to be so secretive about fishing spots. Are you afraid that if our line gets in that water the fishing is ruined. So anyways, the bite IS on, last night I was doing pretty good at my secret spot...lol Lake Bachman by the webb chapel bridge until I eventually couldnt take the wind anymore. I was catching them in 3-5 feet of water on minners, I caught 11 and then only 7 were keepers, all males . I saw one guy catch a female on a jig that would have made my best one of last night 12 1/2 inches look like a damn minnow but hey guys good luck everyone today looks like it could be a good one, once i recoup im going to be back at the water however i will be at another spot. Its a secret

If people understood what was important in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles.

I put out 8 brush piles this week and have 7 more to put out today you want me to youtube it and post the link so when I go to them I have to fish next to 4 other boats? This thread got rediculous fast original poster should get grats on a good outing and his hard work commended not be hounded by people not wanting to go do a little runnin on their own. Nothing in this world is free and if you feel otherwise then I feel you're not worth your grain. More than enough information was given stop trying to get a free ride. Fishing is the most enjoyable work a person could do but it's still work from hitchin the boat to cleaning fish it's work. Do you go to your job asking others to do your tasks for you? If you don't then don't ask others to do your job for fishing either.

LOL! I went crappie fishing with a guide, my friend was punching in GPS coords everywhere we went. The guide either didn't know or didn't care. The guide has spent years creating some fantastic brush piles. I think that you can tell anyone what lake, what worked, how deep, type of structure. I doubt I would fish his brush piles unless I asked first.

You don't have to say anything too. If you see me on the lake I am going to spill my guts to you, for whatever it is worth. I am just fat, dumb and happy. wink
